The past three years, I’ve started making pumpkin carving a part of my yearly October tradition again. In addition to Halloween being my favorite holiday, pumpkin carving is a relaxing way to be creative and express myself.
This year, I decided to carve Walter White from my favorite show, Breaking Bad. I experimented with using an electric pumpkin carving tool, which proved unsuccessful. After a few minutes, I put it down and picked up my old blades and tools.
I am not in danger, Skyler. I am the danger. A guy opens his door and gets shot, and you think that of me? No! I am the one who knocks!
-Walter White
The original sketch that I was going with also contained a lot of wrinkle marks, but due to time constraints, I decided to keep it simple with just the hat, mouth, sunglasses and nose. The entire process took about an hour and a half.
